Indie comic book writer Brandon Easton lands big gig!

Brandon Easton  has written independent comic book titles such as Armarauders, Watson and Holmes, Interceptor and others for the last few years. While he was making a  name for himself on the indie scene, Brandon still plugged away at landing a big time gig.  On December 18th, 2014 Brandon learned through Disney Talent relations, that after 7 months of interviews meetings and hard work, he would be joining them. Now Brandon finds himself  as part of ABC’s  staff writers on the second season of Agent Carter.

Here’s the official announcement from Disney ABC Creative Talent Development:
“Congratulations to current Disney-ABC Program Writer Brandon Easton on getting staffed on Marvel’s AGENT CARTER on ABC! Brandon, a former public school teacher who once taught in the Bronx and Harlem, is also an acclaimed graphic novelist who was nominated for the prestigious Eisner Award, the comic book industry’s highest honor. Congrats Brandon and tune in to AGENT CARTER when it returns for its second season on ABC!”

Brandon is a testament to the old adage “hard work pays off”, and we couldn’t be happier for his success. So for all you independent creators out there keep on working at your craft.
